Sun with strong growth among 20-year-olds

- "The MBL figures presented this week are really good feedback from readers," says editor-in-chief Andreas Heen Haaland-Carlsen of Sol.

The figures show that Sol has more than 200,000 daily readers for the first time, and not least that the news service has seen readership growth of 28 percent over the past year.

- All the growth is on mobile, and we've seen the biggest increase among readers aged between 20 and 29. This is because we have become better at marketing and editorial content on social media, plus we have many readers who go directly to the front page," says Haaland-Carlsen.

- Sol is older than many of the new readers we meet now, so it's cool that young people use us to stay up to date.

In addition to 20-year-olds, young adults in the establishment phase - especially new parents - are the most frequent users of Sol.

- It's probably simply because Sol gives you the best overview of all free, open cases all the time," says Haaland-Carlsen.
