How would you describe "The Little Cookbook"?
It's a food blog based on the concept of "quick, easy and good". There are recipes for food, desserts, cakes, drinks and yes... a bit of everything really but where you don't need lots of fancy ingredients, a lot of time or great skills.
How has the growth journey been?
It has simply been HUGE. I started the account at the end of March 2022 and started publishing in full force from April. On December 31, 2022, I passed 100 thousand (!!) followers on Instagram and as of today I have 115 thousand followers. It's growing steadily and there are good responses to what I post. I have also grown on Tiktok in recent months and there I now have a following of almost 26 thousand. I was also contacted by Youtube who recommended that I post the same content there, so that's part of the growth plan for 2023.
What do you want to achieve with the channel?
First and foremost, to be a source of inspiration for "most people". There are many talented food bloggers out there, but I want to be a little different by focusing on the simple things. Time is limited for many of us and in a hectic everyday life, I want to inspire simple creativity in the kitchen.
What would be your dream collaboration?
Hehe, this is a tough one. I have a little dream of launching my own pizza series with base, sauce and toppings. The reason is that the pizza videos on both Tiktok and Instagram have been a big reason for the growing success. It's clear that it has created a lot of engagement and I've received a lot of good feedback. So that would be fun!
What trends do you believe in for 2023?
I really believe in a bit of comfort food. Many people have had to and will have to cut back on the luxury of eating out, which is why I think more people will seek inspiration for good meals (besides too much work or skills). Pasta and pizza never fail, and I also believe that the sushi trend that is flourishing abroad will reach us during the year. Right now it's a bit early, but it will come (I think). I have already tested some of the sushi dishes and I will continue to do so!
