Aller Media continues to strengthen the commercial unit; on August 15, Martin Meiner starts in a newly created position as Head of Advertising Products and Innovation. He will also become part of the management team in the commercial department.

Martin has good experience with exactly this," says Chris Tallerås Steen, Commercial Director at Aller Media.
Meiner comes from Schibsted where he has worked as a business developer on various innovation and strategy projects, including media strategy, product development and innovation in advertising and digital media.
- We already have a strong and forward-thinking commercial team, but we want to be even better! That's why we're now making changes to the management team and hiring another expert in their field," says Tallerås Steen
In his new role, Martin will be responsible for leading processes and innovation in the commercial department, with the goal of creating the best products for our customers.
Martin brings valuable expertise from previous positions into his new role at Aller Media. He also has a background from retail and digitalization in Norges Gruppen, where he led the work to establish SPAR within online grocery shopping.
- "I'm coming to a company that loves to challenge and dares to chase the opportunities that others might fear. My task will be to challenge this further, while at the same time creating better results for our customers," he says.
He goes on to say that he wants to add a slightly different profile to the department. He doesn't have a background in the media industry, but an exciting digital background.
- The majority of what I have done has been to challenge the established, from digital commerce in grocery, "first of its kind" freight subscription in Norway and strategy in segments and areas with high growth.
When asked why he wants to work at Aller Media, the answer is a combination of culture, innovative solutions and people.
- There is also a very exciting mix of strong, established brands, while at the same time having a more playful and creative portfolio of technology companies, content and brands. In that mix, I think there's a lot of exciting things to come.
- I hope to be a positive addition, also to the community, and to be a person who helps people to think outside the box, while at the same time having a really cool time together," Martin concludes with a smile.
