Maarud breaks new ground with new 3D advertising solution

Maarud wanted an ad where the potato chips exploded out of the bag - we took it one step further

In connection with the launch of the Intense Cheese & Red Pepper potato chips, Maarud wanted an advertising solution that truly tasted of innovation. Together with Aller Media and Madington, a double full screen with a 3D effect was developed, where the chips literally explode out of the bag - and the screen.

See video of the solution at the bottom of the article.

– Aller Media asked us to create something bold and different for their client Maarud. By making the full-screen format narrower, we created the illusion that the chips were breaking out of the frame itself, says Antonio Morvato from Madington, the company behind the development of the Maarud ad.

The result? A crunchy visual experience that captures attention and gives the user a taste of the intensity of Maarud's latest snack.

And most importantly? Maarud is delighted with the creative solution:

- With the aim of creating extra attention around the launch of Maarud's new Intense flavour, we briefed Aller to create a solution that promoted a visualisation of the chips' flavour explosion. We also wanted to draw a common thread to the outdoor formats which were designed in a similar way with elements that moved outside the traditional format. The result was a playful and engaging double full screen that utilises the format in a way, via a 3D effect, that has not been done before. The customer is very satisfied and thinks the solution plays well with their profile and brand.
