The Interior Council is on the top 10 list in Norway

Interiørrådet has quickly become Norway's largest interior design podcast after its launch in June 2022. To date, the podcast has over 200,000 listens, on a visual theme such as interiors. Today, it is the 10th most popular podcast among Norwegian listeners.

Every week we get tips, tricks and inspiration from interior design queen Tone Kroken and KK journalist Benedicte Wessel-Holst. Whether you want to pimp up your kitchen on a budget, create your dream bedroom or learn how to decorate like a pro, to name just a few of the topics covered.

- They hit the mark with their mix of usefulness and inspiration, and I have to say that Tone and Benedicte are not only knowledgeable and extremely skilled, but also have a warmth and humor that makes the podcast a delight to listen to," says Heldal.

The idea of creating an interior design podcast came about because Tone keeps getting a lot of inquiries in her Instagram inbox about everything to do with interior design and renovation. In the podcast, they answer people's questions and combine it with visual communication through the Instagram account @interior_raadet.

- "The balance between interior tips and interior design hacks in the podcast and on Instagram, communicated with sound and images, has resulted in gratifying growth and loyal followers every week," says Tonje Løw Hansen, Growth Manager at Aller Social Club.

Since the summer, they have managed to build a large following on the podcast and on Instagram, which today has over twelve thousand followers, and they maintain a position on the iTunes leaderboard.

- These days, topics around budget and hacks are some of the most attractive, and in 2023, even more episodes are planned around this, both for cottage, home and garden. Norwegian celebrities have Tone on speed dial in connection with the renewal of their homes, so now we will also spice up the podcast with some celebrity visits. Maybe they have some secrets up their sleeve that they want to share with listeners interested in interiors, so stay tuned," says Løw Hansen.
