Andreas Gaarder is the winner of Mediastar in Q2

Every quarter, Starcom awards a Mediastar as a way of recognizing good partners in media companies. This quarter, the winner of the Mediastar for Q2 is none other than Andreas Gaarder, Strategic Group Account Manager at Aller Media.

A Mediastar is a media partner that is distinguished by consistent quality in all parts of the delivery. The nominees have contributed a good solution with clear goals and insight, and have shown originality and creativity in their work. The winner of this quarter's Mediastar is automatically included in the final to become "Mediastar of the Year".

Went the extra mile for the customer

In connection with a major launch of a new concept, all the major media houses were briefed by Starcom and the client. Andreas and Aller Media delivered the best results in terms of creativity, overall plan and the work behind the pitch that was presented. "We felt that Aller Media went the extra mile for the customer", is an excerpt from the statement from one of the teams that nominated Andreas.

- Andreas delivers proposals that are well thought out and well connected in a holistic approach and concept that puts our customers in focus. This also shows a good understanding of our briefs," says Tale Gjøvik at Starcom.

The team at Aller Media received further praise for their efficiency after receiving the brief. The solution was creative, interactive, solution-oriented and commercial. A combination that the client was very impressed with.

A fantastic recognition

- Thank you so much for the award as Mediastar in Q2! It was both touching and great for me to receive such recognition. The fact that the people I work with say that I do a good job means a lot to me. I've also received good help from many talented colleagues who are good at things I'm not good at," says Andreas, who also wants to give credit back to Starcom:

Receiving the award as this quarter's Mediastar is a solid motivational boost and I think the award is an incredibly good initiative from Publicis.
