Aller Media's fireplace room was filled to the brim when we invited you to a breakfast seminar on March 8. The theme was, of course, women - and here are 5 key takeways from the seminar.

  1. Executive Vice President Bente Klemetsdal gave a lecture on women and leadership, sharing experiences from her own career path, as well as a number of thought-provoking facts. These included the fact that only 26% of Norwegian senior managers are women (source: Statistics Norway) and that companies are 25% more likely to perform better if they have diversity in their management teams (source: McKinsey & Company).
  2. Linn Berg Skjeseth, Group Account Manager at Aller Media, presented her brand new case from the Norwegian Directorate of Health on pill abuse among Norwegian women. Did you know, for example, that 1 in 5 Norwegian women take too many painkillers? Read more about the thought-provoking case here >>
  3. Regine Sandberg, Senior Commercial Analyst at Aller Media, reviewed our new Consumer Survey. This shows that more and more women are noticing that their finances are being squeezed by rising prices, but that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Fewer women expect to be less well-off in the future.
  4. Women plan their purchases better than before, look for good deals to a greater extent and as many as 50% buy cheaper products than before (source: Aller Media Consumer Survey February 2024)
  5. What advertisers should focus on going forward includes good offers, tips and advice for saving money and inspiration for sustainable consumption (source: Aller Media Consumer Survey February 2024)
