On March 31, Aller Best 2021 was held for the sixth time. Aller Media's advertisers, partners and agencies were present at this year's award ceremony, when Telenor T-We, OMD, Newslab and Aller Media's own Andreas Gaarder, Strategic Group Account Manager, won the award.

- "I feel we've managed to strike a nerve in the world we live in today, where there's a jungle of TV content to navigate and consume. What people are looking for is to be tipped off about the gems that are out there and that are actually worth watching, and I really feel we've managed to do that in a good way," says Irén Udnæs from Telenor.

- We've also had an incredibly good collaboration and a good strategic approach. We've had strategy at the heart of everything we do. We haven't thought about creativity just for creativity's sake, but because we have certain expectations that we need to achieve," says Gino Ismail, Planning Director at OMD.

This year's jury consisted of jury chair Chris Tallerås Steen, the internal management team at Aller Media, and three external members - Hanne Jegleim from Mediacom, Martin Wenstad from Cavai and Christian Gundersen from Mindshare. The latter three have also acted as coaches for all the finalists.

The jury leader reveals that it has never been closer at the top and that this has been a difficult process for the jury with many discussions about the solutions and results of the three finalists.

1st place: Telenor T-We - Customers are flocking to T-We:

The jury's reasoning:

The winner can point to an unparalleled demonstration of power. Every Friday throughout the year, Telenor T-We has been present on Dagbladet with fresh streaming tips. It's not really accurate to call this initiative a campaign.

In the media industry, we often talk about taking a position. Here we have a winner who has shown the whole of Norway how it should be done.

T-We has done it with accurate and well-crafted content, on a highly relevant news medium, served directly to the Friday taco in thousands of homes. Not just once, but every Friday, all year round! And what happens then? Then the results come.

T-We has taken and consolidated its position as the entertainment expert in Norway, and streaming is only increasing and increasing and increasing. This is storytelling and communication at international top class!

2nd place: BMW i4 - Car of the Year

The jury's reasoning:

Second place went to BMW, iProspect and Sindre Hellkås, Strategic Group Account Manager at Aller Media.

Digital marketing in media houses today is powerful stuff. We're talking about coverage that practically reaches all of Norway - and it becomes even more powerful when they use ALL formats that exist in the Aller universe. A real take-over, pure and simple.

The BMWi4 is the car that all of Norway has been waiting for, and it was first launched in Aller Media's channels. The results were fantastic. Extensive coverage in relevant, quality editorial media never fails.

3rd place: Norwegian Directorate of Health - Stopptober 2021

The jury's reasoning:

Third place went to the Norwegian Directorate of Health, Mindshare and Aller Media's Elizabet Gilleberg, who is strategic customer manager at Aller Media.

Sometimes we see campaigns that are a little different. They're a bit bigger, more important. Yes, it's almost like they're... smoking.

This finalist has used the most powerful tool available: Real people with real stories. Real emotions, tears and triumph. Real lives. For 28 days, our readers follow - in real time - five people who have made their most important decision: To quit smoking.
