"Aller Best" is the case competition where Aller Media showcases the very best campaigns throughout the year.
The awards celebrate the creative solutions, great ideas, clever minds and of course the fantastic results, but also provide inspiration and learning for both us and our partners.
Four times a year, a case finalist is chosen to advance to the final. And now we're excited to announce the very first winner.
The submitted cases are assessed by a jury composed of internal members from Aller Media and three external members, who this year are Tale Gjøvik, Business Director at Starcom, Bjørn Devold Eidsvig, Strategic Advisor at OMD and Sverre Vinje, Customer Director at Carat.
Jury leader, Commercial Director at Aller Media Chris Tallerås Steen, is very much looking forward to working with "Aller Best", together with this year's experienced jury.
- This year's jury is equipped with extensive expertise, experience and insight into the market, and will contribute with good professional input and discussions at the jury meeting. We wish this year's jury a warm welcome to "Aller Best" 2023," says Tallerås Steen.

What are you looking forward to as a new jury member and supervisor at Aller Best?
- It's always fun to see and read good cases. But I hope I can be a good sparring partner for those who have written cases, as well as being an objective partner who helps to select the best cases.
What does it take to create the winning case?
- Have a strategy based on insights and clear goals. The execution of the campaign has an advantage if it differs from traditional solutions. The results must be linked to the goals set for the campaign. When this is in place, you have a winning case.

What is so special about "Aller Best"?
- "I think 'Aller Best' is a great competition that helps to increase professional competence at Aller. They give their employees good tools that raise the level of deliveries to customers. Content is constantly evolving, what do you think and hope we'll see more of?
- Content has evolved considerably in recent years, with fantastic layout and use of live images and sound. It would be exciting to see interactive solutions. I would also like to see an even clearer focus on how we can measure the impact of content marketing even better.

What do you hope to see in Aller Best 2023?
- I hope to see cases that are A-Z, where key insights are extracted from the media usage, and where there is a good match between brand, media and target audience.
What is your best advice for case writers?
- Create a story with a common thread and try to make the level of difficulty as visible as possible. There must also be a connection between the objectives set and the results achieved.
