Aller Best 2022 is underway! Aller Best is a case competition for campaigns run by Aller Media. Here, the good ideas, the creative solutions and the results that follow are assessed and awarded by a competent jury. The award contributes to inspiration and learning, and is a good way to highlight the opportunities in Aller Media - both internally and externally.
We now have the pleasure of presenting this year's external jury for Aller Best. Last year, Telenor T-We won, and now the jury is already in the process of finding the best campaigns for Aller Best Q1. Jury leader and Commercial Director at Aller Media, Chris Tallerås Steen, is very pleased with this year's jury.
- At Aller Best, we have defined criteria that must be fulfilled in a case. The jury is equipped with extensive expertise, experience and insight into the market, and will contribute with good professional input and discussions at the jury meeting. We warmly welcome this year's jury to Aller Best 2022," says Tallerås Steen.

What do you hope to see in Aller Best 2022?
I hope to see unconventional and exciting solutions that have delivered great results!
What does it take to be a winning case?
A well-told story and documented results that can be attributed to initiatives from Aller. Clear goals and a focus on business results will elevate the case and the chances of winning. Furthermore, it is basically about being able to tell a good story and create a good dramaturgy. It is important to "tighten up" and clearly highlight the most important content. Goals and results should be linked in a clear and understandable way.
What are your tips for first-time case creators?
Learn from the best and get an experienced case buddy! It's easy to become "house blind" in case writing processes. Always get someone who doesn't know the case to help you. Create a good outline and agree with yourself on what you want to convey.

What do you hope to see in Aller Best 2022?
Firstly, I'm very excited to see how the cases are presented from a sales perspective. I hope to see cases that are creative, play on the properties of the medium and use unique insights to create great results. Pioneering use of media is always exciting, especially if it is done in a way that is relevant to the brand.
What does it take to be a winning case?
If a case is to win on the basis of results, there must be a common thread from objectives prior to the campaign to actual results afterwards. A case is always stronger if you can document that the good results come from the campaign in question. It is also positive if the creativity is based on good and relevant insight, and where this has been taken out on the media's terms.
What are your tips for first-time case creators?
Be structured! Try to tell a story throughout the document so that the reader "gets it" and understands the case. If the reader is charmed by the case, even better! It is important to emphasize the level of difficulty, especially if you are operating in a demanding category. It's okay to be playful, both in words and images - at least if it's relevant. Have a common thread in terms of results. The goals set before the campaign must be measured afterwards - so that goals and results are linked. Get a colleague or three to read through the document to ensure that someone who is not familiar with the case understands what it is about.

What do you hope to see in Aller Best 2022?
I hope to see strategy, creative and innovative solutions working together in a delivery that is steeped in quality.
What does it take to be a winning case?
"I think it's important to set good, concrete goals ahead of the campaign. It's crucial to actually see whether the campaign has delivered on its goals. I recommend discussing this with the customer/agency in advance and setting clear goals together. This, together with innovative solutions in a delivery that is well prepared and well thought out, provides good opportunities to win.
What are your tips for first-time case creators?
Ask for help and don't be afraid to spar with your colleagues/collaborators. A good case is super useful for all sides of the table, and I would imagine that most people are interested in helping to put a good case in place. Otherwise, it is of course important to read up on the criteria.
