Dagbladet has experienced tremendous growth in recent years. Last week, the readership figures were released, which was very good news for Dagbladet.
Dagbladet is one of the news media that has experienced the greatest increase in the number of daily readers. The circulation figures were released on Tuesday morning, which was also good news for Dagbladet.
Compared to the first half of 2021, Dagbladet's paper circulation in the first half of 2022 increased from 23,298 to 25,037 - an increase of 7.5 percent.
Editor-in-Chief Alexandra Beverfjord is delighted with the recent and gratifying figures from MBL (Mediebedriftenes Landsforening).
- The paper newspaper market is declining overall. It is therefore particularly gratifying that Dagbladet can still report growth in paper circulation this year. We have a fantastic editorial team that works hard every day to give our paper readers the best journalism we have to offer," she says.
The number of digital subscribers to Dagbladet also grew from the first half of last year to the first half of this year. The growth is just over 2,500 subscribers, or 3.3 percent. In total, Dagbladet now has an approved circulation of 103,780 in the first half of 2022, which is a growth of 4.3 percent compared to the first half of last year.
So - when will the paper newspaper die? Definitely not anytime soon.
- This is an ongoing assessment for us, but we will continue to publish a paper newspaper as long as there is enough interest in this product among our readers," says Editor-in-Chief Beverfjord.
