Liv & Ingmar is a love story and cinema documentary about the relationship between legendary Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann and Sweden's own master director Ingmar Bergman. The ad for the film appeared in Magasinet in September and was the ad that came out best in this month's SWAR test.

High cinema consumption among readers
- Ads for films generally perform well in Dagbladet. Our readers are interested in culture, with a great interest in reading about movies. Dagblad readers are also overrepresented among those with high movie consumption," says analysis manager Dagbladet.no, Trine Tvetbråten.

Satisfied with good score
- "We deliberately chose to place the ad in Magasinet, as their readers coincide well with the target group for the film. This is a somewhat special film, a film that we knew from the start would be in theaters for quite some time, as the audience is not necessarily those who run and see the film the first week, says Janne Holmboe, Marketing Manager at SF Norway.

- Therefore, we are pleased that we have clearly made a good impression on our target audience. We think it's great that our ad has been noticed and that it scores so highly. We also really like it ourselves, because it encompasses what the movie is about in a great way," says Holmboe.

Good combination of emotions
- The movie about Liv & Ingmar is this month's winner. Not surprisingly, the ad for the love film attracts very high attention among women (33% above the norm). Love is the most frequently cited association with the ad. Not unnaturally, Ullmann, Bergman, Swedish, relationships and drama are also frequently mentioned as associations. "The ad manages to balance being comfortable and relaxing, while at the same time being exciting and engaging," says Ingvar Sandvik, Marketing Director at TNS Gallup.
