Aller Social Club is still growing! The new members of the club are two profiles who missed a platform with tips, recommendations and experiences from life with young children, and decided to take matters into their own hands. This is how the journey to @mamabear.hacks began.
They created the profile just over six months ago, and today it has become a universe for parents filled with tips, tricks and hacks.
To get to know our new members better, we asked the moms behind the Instagram account @mamabear.hacks five quick questions.
How did you start working with Instagram and as influencers?
This started when we were both on maternity leave and missed an Instagram account that was relevant to us - with smart tips, product recommendations and experiences from life with toddlers. We'd often use our Instagram account to share solutions to everyday challenges, talk about products we loved and hated, or just smart tips. We quickly realized that we might have an above-average interest in these topics, and decided to create our own platform where we could share this with other mothers.
How would you describe "mamabear.hacks"?
Like the extra big sister you would like to have when you have children. The one who has already tested, failed, learned and understands. We want to create a safe, inspiring and helpful space for other mothers of young children. A platform that can help make life with babies and children a little easier, more fun and a little more understandable.
What would be your dream collaboration?
A dream collaboration would be with a department store that sells products for young children. Then we could do seasonal product reviews within their range, and give our followers real and honest recommendations on products such as babycalls, stroller bags, travel carts and the like. In addition, we would have liked to collaborate with larger department stores that sell products for house and home, and come up with lots of great hacks using their products.
What has been the most fun post for you to create and/or post so far?
The funniest posts we've made are probably humor reels, where we've put things about toddler life on the edge. For example, when one of us plays a 3-year-old and the other a mom - there's a lot of laughter and a lot of takes. These posts have also been very popular and several have gone viral, which makes it extra fun.
What's the most important thing you've learned so far in the influencer profession?
That you should tread carefully, think carefully and not forget the influence you have on other people.
