The award ceremony of the Norwegian Media Federation (MBL) marks the start of the annual Nordic Media Days in Bergen. 38 media houses are taking part in the competition. Prizes are awarded in no less than 21 categories, and yesterday Rød Løper celebrated itself as the winner in the Web TV Concept of the Year category.
Why do you win?
- "We've managed to create Norway's largest web TV platform within our genre, which is celebrity, and in doing so we've taken an important position in media Norway. We know from the marketing department that 1.4 million people watch us in the course of a month. We think that's very exciting," says Madeleine Liereng, producer of Dagbladet TV's celebrity initiative Rød Løper.
