- "We have been thinking about organizing the Reality Awards for a long time, but the pandemic meant that we had to postpone. Even though the Reality Awards were held for the first time last year, we managed to be named Editorial Event of the Year during Mediedagene in Bergen. Se og Hør will own the reality genre," says Niklas Kokkinn-Thoresen, administrative editor at Se og Hør.

The Reality Awards are held at HT Arena, where 500 reality contestants, advertisers and people who work behind the scenes gather for the awards ceremony and a big party.

Kokkinn-Thoresen says that they experienced massive press coverage around the Reality Awards. The material clicked enormously digitally. In addition to the reality participants themselves diligently sharing on their social media platforms, and of course Seoghør.no itself together with Dagbladet, the event was covered by all major media such as NRK, TV2, VG, Nettavisen and P4.

- "We are very pleased that the Reality Awards also attracted a younger target group. Last year, no one knew what they were for. This year it's a completely different matter, and now more sponsors are interested in participating," says Niklas Kokkinn-Thoresen.
