KK is named Magazine of the Year 2024
- It's enough to give you goose bumps! It makes me so proud that I almost burst," says responsible editor Ingeborg Heldal.
Every year, the Norwegian Media Association invites the Norwegian press to take part in the big competition for Norway's most prestigious media awards. During the big awards ceremony in connection with Nordic Media Days, KK walked away with the award for "Magazine of the Year".
The KK universe has become Norway's largest gathering place for women. They deliver both digitally and in print, and have created a broad women's universe with a loyal readership. They have managed to balance the readership of the paper magazine by staying true to their readers and to what is "KK".
- "It's fantastic recognition to receive the 'Magazine of the Year' award - it's the industry's own Oscar," says Heldal.
- It's extra special to receive the award in the year KK celebrates 150 years in the Norwegian market.
- The fact that the jury singles out KK as a pioneer in the digital construction of magazines is also warming, as it has been a demanding process that really hasn't come by itself.
- I am also incredibly proud that our work with sustainability and diversity, as well as good journalism is once again the basis for the award.
