Christmas chat with Caroline Francke Berg at Hadeland Glassverk

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that people of all ages discover all the exciting things happening at Hadeland Glassverk in Jevnaker. Glassverket offers more than just glass, and you can look forward to the concerts, events and exhibitions they will be organizing in the future.

What inspired you the most in 2021?

I was most inspired by my colleagues, who are positive, creative and highly adaptable. There are many different areas of expertise at Hadeland Glassverk, which makes discussions very exciting and instructive.

There have been two rounds of layoffs, and we have had to adapt our events such as concerts and theater, continuously following rules and recommendations from the municipality and FHI. Nevertheless, we have had a fantastic year with lots of visitors, great events and good feedback from visitors. This summer we had the digital exhibition Monet with friends here. It was beautiful, with moving images accompanied by music. I'm both inspired and proud to have such a great exhibition at Hadeland glassworks.

What are your expectations for 2022?

I'm looking forward to 2022! We have an increasing demand for goods, and more and more people are discovering the events we organize at Jevnaker. We're celebrating our 260th anniversary, and a lot will be happening at Jevnaker. We're working on both product development and several new, great events, exhibitions and concerts. 2022 will be very exciting.

What do you think about the collaboration with Aller Media going forward?

I feel that I have a very good collaboration with Aller Media, where I am challenged with new forms of collaboration. The feedback from visitors is that advertising with you is read and remembered.

How do you celebrate Christmas?

The pre-Christmas period is hectic at work, and socializing with friends. We have a tradition at home of decorating and baking gingerbread throughout December with friends and family. Big and small, and it's very cozy. Christmas starts with a few parties, but then the focus is on skiing a lot. It's wonderful with the cold temperatures and the fact that it's white outside now.
