Håvard Lilleheie to Dagbladet TV

- Oh, it's going to be so much fun! Now the world needs a championship. It's overtime. There's no Super League here. We'll see pure football, without budgets. The best players will go out on the biggest stage and give everything for their country. It's a championship ... I'm looking forward to it," says Lilleheie, who is passionate about football himself.

In recent years, the 48-year-old has had great success on NRK Super as "Daidalos" in the program "Labyrint". He has also hosted "Manshow" on TV 2 Zebra and participated in the first season of "Kompani Lauritzen" on TV 2. As an actor, he played the lead role in the football movie "United".

Now he's looking forward to this summer's big football event - which he will manage for Dagbladet. Hopefully things will go better than during the promo recording. Here's where it goes wrong for Lilleheie

- My best memory of the European Championship is when Denmark won in '92. They didn't even qualify! It was so much - what a story! The whole myth that the Danish players were lying on the beach relaxing when they were called and invited to the championship... It was awesome! Also, it's impossible to forget the Netherlands with Marco van Basten. Ruud Gullit and Frank Rijkaard. They were expected to win, but it was all about delivering," he recalls.

Lilleheie himself can boast a county championship as a football player.

- But I was small and thin and not very good at soccer myself. It's true that I'm the county champion in football, but unfortunately I think I spent a lot of time on the bench.

However, there is no doubt about what is the greatest passion: The Drammen estate.

- Everyone who follows football needs something that also causes a lot of pain, and then I have Strømsgodset. In a way, I think I've gotten more out of that supporter relationship than I thought. For example, I never thought they would win the league. But there's a lot of pain too. But what's also so nice about football is that it turns around so quickly.

"EM-morgen" can be seen on Dagbladet TV every match day throughout the European Championship. Lilleheie will host the program together with Melina Pambou Sundfør and Fredrik Netskar Filtvedt.
