Adding valuable expertise

Aller Media is investing heavily in recruiting new talent, and over the past year has planned more than 80 new appointments across the brands and departments in the Aller building. This time it is Sara Berg who will add valuable expertise to the commercial department as event and competence manager.

Taking on challenges head on

The position will be part of the communication and competence team in Aller Media. Here she will be responsible for external and internal customer events, as well as contribute to developing competence-enhancing measures for the commercial department. Aksel Sørbye, Head of Communication and Competence, is very pleased with the recruitment and having her in place.

- Sara will be an important resource for us in the commercial department. She has extensive experience in planning and implementing events. She is curious, structured and likes challenges. This is a combination of qualities that come in handy in a varied position like this

Takes over the Aller Best helm

Berg comes from the position of meeting and event planner at Accenture, where she worked with the planning and implementation of major events. She will now further develop activities for both customers and employees in Aller Media, including the prestigious Aller Best case competition.

- "Aller Best is a really exciting concept that I'm looking forward to helping to further develop in the future. I realize that I have big shoes to fill and I go into this with awe and am very excited," says Berg, who is looking forward to getting started.
