Aller Media Creative Studio went all the way to the top in the Branded Content Awards 2026 – and secured two awards of the most precious metal in fierce competition with the world elite:
– We are incredibly proud of these awards. They belong to the customers who showed us their trust, the media house brands that brought the stories to life, and all the talented people behind the work. Thank you for creating something that really touched people, says Ida Fridh, Director of Aller Creative Nordic.
The team behind the campaign for the Norwegian Directorate of Health was also invited to give an in-depth presentation of the case during Native Advertising Days in London – a recognition reserved for the very strongest contributions.
– It is an honor that the jury of the Branded Content Awards sees the qualities in how we have chosen to convey these strong stories, says Tor Erik Sollid, content producer for the campaign.
The creative team also consisted of photographer Thomas Rasmus Skaug and designer Espen Løken.
Stories that make a difference
The campaign aimed to open up about one of society's most challenging topics, suicide, through real stories that create recognition, trust and hope.
– What has made it work so well is the good and close collaboration we at Aller Media have had with WPP and Mindshare, RVTS Øst and the Norwegian Directorate of Health, he says.
Through a story-driven approach, the project has helped lower the threshold for talking about what is difficult, and shown how branded content can be used for more than building a brand.
Brought forth the heroes
– The real heroes behind this campaign are Yasin, Jan Egil and Marius, who shared their voices. All we have done is bring them forward, with respect, to the readers, says Tor Erik.
Aller Media Creative Studio was nominated in a total of five categories in this year's competition.
