What they have in common is that they impressed in the process – both through the way they thought, challenged and communicated how Aller Media can create value for customers and partners.

Anne Bryn Nes – Key Account Manager

Anne Bryn Nes comes from the role of Product Manager/Brand Manager at Dermanor, and has previous experience from both the agency and client side. This combination gives her a broad perspective on customer journeys, commercial priorities and how good collaborations are built.

The opportunity at Aller Media struck immediately. The strong brands, clear commercial focus and closeness to customers were crucial. Anne highlights relationship building, business understanding and execution skills as her most important contributions – and she is motivated by developing solutions that create lasting results. Her experience from both sides of the table gives her a unique understanding of customer needs and what actually drives growth.

Silje Skylstad – Strategic Group Account Manager

Silje Skylstad comes from Re:Media, where she has been an account manager for almost ten years. Her agency experience has given her solid insight into how advertisers prioritize, how decisions are made and what factors trigger investments. She has worked closely with clients' business goals and knows how important it is that media strategy and commercial direction are linked.

When she learned about the opportunity at Aller Media, she found it to be a good fit both professionally and in terms of values. Aller Media represents strong editorially-driven brands and a clear Nordic focus – something she believes is particularly important at a time when journalism in several countries is under pressure. The motivation lies in contributing where trust is high and journalism is strong.

Silje looks forward to strengthening the dialogue between advertisers and editorially-driven environments. She finds that more and more advertisers are concerned with the context in which they are visible, and that credibility and trust play a greater role than before. With her strategic understanding and clear professional voice, she will be an important bridge builder between commercial needs and editorial environments.

Maiken Riskild – Strategic Group Account Manager

Maiken Riskild comes from JCDecaux, where she worked as a Key Account Manager. She has previous experience from both media agencies and the media side, which gives her a holistic overview of the value chain and how good collaborations are established and developed.

For Maiken, it was the people that made the difference. Aller Media represented an environment with strong professional communities, warm colleagues and a level of ambition that she wanted to be a part of. She describes it as a place where she knows she will thrive – and contribute.

Maiken believes she has a special ability to understand needs before they are expressed. She is used to working closely with both clients and agencies, and knows how to build collaboration that works in practice. Structure, relationship understanding and professional security make her a natural sparring partner for complex clients. She looks forward to being part of a team that both challenges and lifts each other.

They reflect the culture we want to strengthen.

– When meeting our three new colleagues, we were struck by how clearly they reflected the culture we want to strengthen. The ability to think new things, challenge and create results was clearly evident in the interviews. They brought perspectives that inspired us and showed the scope for opportunity in Aller Media in a way that was apt. That is why it feels extra right to bring them into the organization now, says Commercial Director Chris Tallerås Steen.
