Aller Media has experienced tremendous digital growth over a long period of time. CEO Dag Sørsdahl can now reveal that the group will carry out a historically large content investment.

- "Aller Media has a unique digital position, and we have experienced strong digital growth over a long period of time. We have great faith in our brands, and will now focus further on our publishing products and positions," says Dag Sørsdahl.

Aller Media owns well-known national brands such as Dagbladet, Se og Hør, KK, SOL and a number of selected niches including Din Side and Elbil24. In addition to media activities, Aller Media owns a number of companies within Marketing Services, gathered in Ahead Group and Roede AS with "new habits that last".

Believe in content

Over a long period of time and especially strengthened in the past year, Aller Media's editorial products have experienced a very good development, both in terms of the number of digital users and digital revenues.
- We are now making a historic investment in our own portfolio, and we have great ambitions for the future. The core of what we do is editorial content - journalistic content. Over time, we have worked to strengthen our digital position, and now we are ready to make an even stronger push in the market," says the CEO.

The recruitment of almost 80 new FTEs will take place within all the Group's major brands.

- "This will be a huge leap forward for the entire Group," says Sørsdahl.

Will "own" Norwegian women

With kk and Se og Hør , Aller Media already has strong digital positions. Now the female target group will be further strengthened.

- kk is bigger than Dagens Næringsliv on mobile. "Quality journalism aimed at women is something we really know how to do, and now we're scaling up our efforts significantly. Not least, Se og Hør and the celebrity desk will have many new journalists on the team. We expect strong growth," says Sørsdahl.

The niche sites Elbil24, Kode24 and vi.no will also be expanded. In addition, we have just launched PlussMobil - where our readers can buy a very competitive mobile subscription.

- We have a broad and exciting media portfolio with great potential.

Dagbladet with wild income growth

Dagbladet has seen tremendous growth in unique users and page views in recent years. The newspaper is heading for a record result this year.

- With its 152-year history, Dagbladet has a unique position in the Norwegian media flora. We want to build a stronger Dagbladet for the future. In recent years, Dagbladet has invested heavily in news, revelations and entertainment - this investment will continue in the future. In addition, we will make significant investments in digital user payment," says the CEO.

Significant tech investment

Aller Media has had high ambitions and is already far ahead when it comes to utilizing technology and data. We have restructured on the technology side and have developed a leading data and technology platform that now optimizes across all our business areas in real time.
- "Our technology will contribute to further growth and competitive advantage in the years to come, and now we need even more bright minds to exploit and further develop this area into the future," says Sørsdahl.
