Aksel Sørbye has been appointed head of communication and expertise in the advertising department at Aller Media. He comes most recently from the position as Head of Professionalism at Kreativt Forum (KF).

Sørbye joins the management team in Aller Media's advertising department, where he will be involved in and further develop the profession, people and business in the advertising department with over 70 employees.
Sørbye will be responsible for all B2B marketing with a focus on strengthening and positioning Aller Media's advertising department and position in the market.
He will also be responsible for the internal competence development of the sales department through Aller Akademiet, Aller Masterclass, Aller Best, customer seminars and more. He will thus be an important resource for both internal and external processes when it comes to positioning in the market and commercial revenues at Aller Media.
- Aksel will be the bridge builder between the departments. He will hold the common thread, so that everything is connected. Aksel will help position us for the future," says Chris Tallerås Steen.
Aksel Sørbye has worked at Kreativt Forum for the past 6 years as a technical manager. Before that, he worked as general manager at XLP, marketing manager at Microsoft Advertising, sales manager at Mediafront and sales manager at Gyro Marketing.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in economics from Northeastern University in the USA, as well as marketing and management from IHM Business School in Oslo.
- I've had six incredible years at Kreativt Forum with fantastic colleagues and a bunch of dedicated industry people I'm going to miss a lot. At the same time, I felt it was time for a change of scenery, and when the role at Aller Media came up, it was perfect for me. Even though I'm now changing employers, I'm not leaving the industry that I love so much. I therefore look forward to continuing to work with all the great people in our industry," says Sørbye.
