Vertical video is now available as a pre-roll at Aller Media, and here are 5 reasons why you should test the format with us.

As of October 1, editors switched to presenting large parts of their video content in vertical format.

We are therefore now offering vertical video ads on mobile. The vertical video ads (9:16 format) will appear before editorial content, in the same way as today's existing pre-roll ads (6 seconds, 7-15 seconds non skip, and 15+ skip).

Here are 5 benefits of our new vertical video product:

  1. You get a far more seamless experience, as the ad fills a larger part of the screen - without the user having to rotate the device.
  2. At Aller Media, we offer vertical video as pre-roll.
  3. Vertical ads fill the entire screen, providing less distraction and more attention to the ad and the message the advertiser wants to convey.
  4. The price for vertical video is the same as for the traditional 16:9 format.
  5. The format is the same as used in social media, so you can use the same material - without adaptations - on Aller Media's surfaces.

The 9:16 ad format will be available in addition to the traditional 16:9 format and at the same price. The ad management system will optimize the delivery based on the device used.

Pre-roll campaigns can be bought both directly and programmatically. The ad plays before the editorial content, is click to play and plays with sound.
