Won Kampanje's Agency Profile survey as Media Agency of the Year

This year, as last year, Red Media Consulting is one of the top media agencies.

Since the 1970s, Kampanje has conducted the major Agency Profile survey, in which advertisers rate their agency connections. Red Media Consulting was named Media Agency of the Year 2017.

Almost fainted

Agency manager Maria Aas-Eng of Red Media Consulting took to the stage with happy Red colleagues, including founder Nils Røang. She insists that this award did not come about by itself or was taken for granted.

- No, I almost fainted! It's really cool, and I'm both humbled and delighted," Aas-Eng said from the stage after the award ceremony.

Ever since its inception, Red Media Consulting has had a clear vision of what the company should be. Digital processes and routines have been essential in the development of the agency - which has led to them being at the forefront of digital development today. But there are also other things Aas-Eng would like to highlight.

- "We're winning again this year because of this team here! They're the ones who do the work every day," she says, pointing proudly at her colleagues.

Won over 13 other media agencies

The purpose of the survey has been to measure the profile and reputation of advertising agencies among Norway's largest advertisers, as well as the balance of power between the agencies. This year, Byråprofil was conducted by Kantar Media in collaboration with Kampanje.

Agency Profile was conducted in October 2017 and was based on 556 responses from Norway's largest advertisers and members of the Norwegian Communication Association. 54 agencies had enough ratings to be ranked and they were distributed as follows:

16 advertising agencies. Winner: Try.

10 PR agencies. Winner: Trigger.

13 media agencies. Winner: Red Media Consulting.

5 content/content agencies. Winner: Redink.

11 digital service design agencies. Winner: Netlife.
