Five families each got to borrow a Peugeot 308 SW in a test pilot for Dinside. The good results were shared in Aller's new full-screen format.
Testpilot is a product from Dinside where advertisers pay to test their products. The five families who each borrowed a station wagon took photos and answered questions. Based on this, an article was created on dinside.no. A test pilot has great credibility as commercial content, and the article about Peugeot performed very well with a read time of over four minutes.
In the actual test, the Peugeot 308 SW scored 8.8 points and was rated Very Good on a scale of 0-10. The test pilot was therefore effective and good marketing for Peugeot. After the article with the test pilot had been out for a while, Peugeot wanted to create new traffic to the test pilot.
Over 90% in-screen
Together with Aller, Peugeot created full-screen ads with quotes from the article. The quotes scrolled across the screen every 4 seconds, and the ad was shown on all platforms. The campaign ran in May 2016, and the results show that the ads achieved over 90% in-screen. 4,600 clicks and 0.18% CTR were generated.
